SRINAGAR: Three terrorists have been killed in an operation by way of safety forces within the Zadibal space of Srinagar on Sunday.
“Zadibal Encounter – Third terrorist killed. Search operation going on. Further details shall follow,” a tweet by way of the Kashmir Zone Police learn.
Sources within the Jammu and Kashmir police division instructed ANI that the ones killed integrated a Pakistani terrorist affiliated to Jaish-e-Muhammed who used to be energetic in South Kashmir for the previous few years. Another terrorist escaped, they stated.

Sources added that an AK-47 and an M4 US-made rifle had been recovered all the way through the operation. The US-made rifle is of the similar make and style recovered from a Pakistani drone which used to be shot down in Kathua previous, the assets stated.
“The weapons brought in by the drone were to further reach a Pakistani Jaish-e-Muhmmad terrorist, Ali Bhai, currently active in South Kashmir,” they stated.
IGP (Kashmir) Vijay Kumar congratulated the groups of Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF for accomplishing the operation effectively “with no collateral damage”.
“Since they were locals, we asked some prominent people to appeal to the three terrorists to surrender but they didn’t budge and threw a hand grenade instead and were killed in the ensuing gun battle. Two of them have been identified,” Kumar stated.
