Fitness challenges have become a trend among sports stars across the globe as they are trying to remain fit in the absence of live sport due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

India captain Virat Kohli has been challenging and acing challenges thrown at him over the last few weeks. From clap challenge to powerlifting, Kohli has been showcasing why he is regarded as one of the fittest athletes going around.

On Monday, it was India football captain Sunil Chhettri’s time to throw a challenge at his good friend Kohli. Chettri took to social media to upload a clip in which he can be seen exercising with 2 Swiss balls.

Chhetri tagged Kohli in his post and asked the India captain to give it a go.

“Champ @virat.kohli, saw you throw a challenge on this space the other day, so I’m getting in on the act too. Give us your best shot with this one. I’m assuming there won’t be any clapping involved!

“PS: This is a little bit tougher than it seems,” Chettri wrote.

Responding to the comment, Kohli came up with a cheeky reply.

“Seems difficult skip. 2 swiss balls kahan se laoon magar (where do i get 2 Swiss balls but?),” Kohli wrote.

Kohli’s reply cracked up Chhetri who said he will work on the clap push ups and snatch till the time the cricket star responds to his challenge.

Chhetri is referring to the work out routines that Kohli has flaunted on social media.

It all began when all-rounder Hardik Pandya challenged Kohli with a push-up exercise (fly push ups) on social media. Kohli took up the challenge and added his own twist to it by coming up with the ‘clap push ups’.

Kohli left Hardik in awe. “Well done bruh. I think it will be some challenge to beat this,” Hardik had written.
“On point like your cover drive boss,” Warner responded to Kohli’s video.

Last week, Kohli put out a post in which he picked the exercise that he ‘would do everyday’ — the power snatch.

“If I had to make a choice of one exercise to do everyday, this would be it. Love the power snatch,” Kohli wrote.
