WASHINGTON: A bunch of Indian-Americans has organised a relaxed demonstration in entrance of the Chinese Consulate in Chicago, protesting towards Beijing’s incursions in japanese Ladakh.

The protest used to be restricted to a small team of folks because of the limitations on collecting and different measures carried out through the town of Chicago in view of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Our protest was against the Chinese incursions on Indian territory in Leh. We want to tell China that Indian-Americans will not keep quiet. Today the entire world is with India,” Dr Bharat Barai, an eminent Indian-American from Chicago, stated on Thursday.

“There is a massive resentment against Chinese aggression among Indian-Americans,” he stated.

Protestors carried placards denouncing China for its aggression towards India and different neighboring nations.

The Indian and Chinese militaries are engaged in a border standoff in Pangong Tso, Galwan Valley, Demchok and Daulat Beg Oldie in japanese Ladakh.

A large selection of Chinese Army staff even transgressed into the Indian aspect of the de-facto border in numerous spaces together with Pangong Tso.

The two aspects are engaged in diplomatic and armed forces talks amidst escalating stress following the violent clashes in Galwan Valley on June 15. Twenty Indian Army staff had been killed within the conflict.
