The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday allowed universities and different instructional establishments to habits examinations right through the continuing ‘Unlock 2’ section.

In a commentary, the MHA mentioned it has despatched a letter to the Union Higher Education Secretary allowing universities and establishments to habits examinations.

“The final-term examinations are to be compulsorily conducted as per the UGC guidelines on examinations and academic calendar for the universities and as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) approved by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,” the commentary mentioned.

Various examinations performed by means of universities and better schooling establishments within the nation were suspended since March right through the coronavirus-induced lockdown which first started on March 25.

Since June 1, the federal government has introduced ‘Unlock 1’ for a month and once more from July 1 ‘Unlock 2’ for any other month.

A number of actions were allowed to perform right through the ‘Unlock’ levels in all spaces, barring containment zones.

However, common functioning of faculties, schools, universities and different instructional establishments stay suspended.
