Four bodies, tied with a ‘duppatta’ (cloth), were found floating in a canal near Rupawas village in Sirsa on Wednesday evening.

Bodies of a man (35), a woman (32), a 9-year-old girl and a six-year-old boy were found floating in Nohar Feeder canal near Rupawas village in Sirsa, Haryana.

As soon as locals found the bodies, they informed police. An investigation has been intiated in the matter.

Police suspect that all the four deceased are from the same family. The identity of the four deceases are yet to be ascertained, they said.

Earlier in May, mystery shrouded as bodies of nine people, including six of a family, were found in a well near Warrangal in Telangana.
